Just a few pictures from our trip to the park tonight. Jake and our friend Brad went fishing, so the girls and I went to the park for playtime and a picnic. It is just gorgeous outside!

So obviously I am a little biased, but I just think Lauryn is absolutely gorgeous in this picture! I think that all the time, but very rarely can I capture it in a photo this well! :)

Just enjoying the lovely weather! We had a great run outside yesterday and some fun time playing in the backyard. We are so overdue for some outside playtime!

We had another fun filled weekend! We traveled up north to Ma and Pa's house-also known as Grandpa and Mummu's house! Lauryn had a blast playing outside!!! She got to play on their 'playground' (swingset), right on the lawn mower, and play with her cousins! She also got to have Grandpa's FAMOUS turkey on the grill and she keeps saying, "I LOVE my Grandpa's turkey!" Me too, in fact it's made me a complete turkey snob!!! :)

Easter 2009

We had a wonderful Easter this year! First we got to see the Easter bunny at the Legion in Eyota. Next we traveled to Iowa to celebrate with my side of the family. We got to see so many relatives-we had such a wonderful time! Lauryn loved the Easter egg hunt, flying kites, and playing with her cousins.

Yeah, my beer is out!!! This is DELICIOUS! My summer III student from Michigan introduced this to me in 2007 and it's lovely. An American wheat ale brewed with Saaz hops. Spicy and fruity, Bell's Oberon is the color and scent of a sunny afternoon. Unfortunately it's seasonal so you have to enjoy it while it lasts. Quite yummy with an order of buffalo wings!
